How to create an cozy space outdoor? A corner of privacy sheltered from prying eyes or from sudden rainfalls? A gazebo is the ideal solution.
There are many models, shapes and colors available. It is an architectural structure that never goes out of fashion. The models commonly most used are fixed ones, generally in wood or metal, but there are also movable and foldable models that allow to be easily moved. Used mainly in parks and gardens, today they are often installed on large and medium-sized terraces.
Excellent gazebos are the ones branded Samuele Mazza and manufactured by DFN. DFN is luxury outdoor company that creates exclusive winter gardens, gazebos and cabanas. Iron-made and hand-made gazebos use paints with excellent technical features that, combined with specific treatments, offer different color solutions that can resist over time.
THE MATERIALS
There are many shapes that can be taken from a gazebo, from square to octagonal, depending on the available sizes and aesthetic preferences and many are the materials that you can select among, too. Let’s see together the most widespread!
The wooden gazebo is definitely the most used one, available in different colors, perfectly integrates with the surrounding vegetation. Wood is long-lasting thanks to its elastic structure and it is also an eco-sustainable material perfectly coherent with the new architectural standards that are increasingly focused on this subject. However, wood requires constant maintenance to prevent or limit damages caused by humidity.
Another material to consider is PVC, usually used for the construction of window structures, is very durable and totally waterproof. PVC for gazebos is highly recyclable and absolutely green, with great acoustic and thermal isolation capability.
As I wrote before about the gazebos signed by Samuele Mazza, the one in wrought iron – called Sole – undoubtedly ensures a great “stage presence”. The new models offer a version with lateral curtains too, which can be opened or closed as needed to make it more modern and less classic. It is advisable, because of its weight, to attach it to the ground. The wrought-iron gazebo is the most solid and generally permanent solution therefore it has to be chosen with great accuracy.
Thanks to gazebos of any type, you can create a relaxation area to welcome friends and the family too. Perfect for lunches in sunny summer days or for dining with the whole family in the sunset or lit by the stars.
You can also transform your gazebo into a space for freetime, by decorating it with lounges or tables to “extend” your living room in the outdoor area. Have you ever thought about setting up a playground for children in the gazebo?
