Tell me which wood you choose… and I’ll tell you who you are. The tree’s species are so many but the essences, as the commercial varieties are called, are less. There is the wood derived from conifers (like pine, fir and larch) softer and usually cheaper, or wood derived from deciduous (like oak, beech, chestnut, etc.) more valuable and with more aesthetic impact. If you prefer an exotic touch you can choose teak, iroko and ipè, appreciated for their warm shades and excellent weather resistance.
