Private residence in Brescia

Life and color for a vertical entrance

Two green walls, facing each other, frame the entrance of a private residence in Brescia.
The location and structure of the walls had important characteristics and constraints that needed great attention before proceeding with the creation of the greenery. First of all, not all of the area of the walls had the same exposure to light, there were areas that were more illuminated than others, but this issue was not to get in the way of aesthetic need to have a well- maintained and lush green at every point of the two structures and at all times of the year. This need arose from the fact that the two walls are located at the entrance to the residence, endowed, therefore, with great visibility. To overcome the problems present, Sandrini took great care in the botanical study and design of the fertigation system. Spring and Summer, creating uniform patches of color are the groundcover species such as Geranium Heuchera, while ensuring greenery throughout the year are the evergreen Shrubs and Grasses. Today, at the entrance to this private residence, there are two striking green doors that change with the seasons and bring life and color to this home
