Technology and sustainability for a total green neighborhood

Inaugurated in 2017, this building complex was born in a strategic neighborhood in the Parma area and was designed by studio J+S with the aim of transforming a very large and unused area into a 100% green office hub that managed to combine the modernity of new construction technologies with a strong local tradition.

In fact, in addition to inspiring the innovative and sustainable architecture of the buildings, which are made entirely of wood and equipped with energy-efficient systems, the rural origin of this neighborhood also stimulated the conception of enveloping and inclusive landscape solutions that led Sandrini to the creation of a complex and articulated green area.

Crossed by bicycle and pedestrian paths, the buildings are developed according to a permeable and publicly accessible master plan among squares, gardens and street furniture elements free from automobile traffic, for which parking lots screened by curtains of greenery have been created. In addition, through the selection of dynamic plants by colors and sounds in the different seasons, the botanical study focused on its sensory stimulation capacity in order to foster the relationship between nature and the working environment.
