Majestic contrast

In the city of Doha, an immense shopping complex with linear architecture, completely white and bathed in light, has recently sprung up. In this framework, greenery emerges as a striking contrast becoming the protagonist of the space and giving vitality to the structure. Nine columns, strictly white, are placed in the main entrance, towering high in the building, which Sandrini planned to cover with greenery. Specifically, it was conceived to cover the upper part of the columns with stabilized plants, soft mosses and Lichens.
These botanical essences enliven the supporting structures, transforming them into decorative elements with a strong aesthetic impact. Whileanother wall, positioned near a second entrance, becomes the backdrop for a spectacular vertical garden where curvilinear forms color contrasts are enhanced by building’s rigor and brightness.
