New splendor and vitality for a Royal Palace
A representative palace built for a prominent Emirati family and its huge park, which has never been completed, formed the working basis for this ambitious project entrusted to Sandrini: aesthetic redevelopment, improvement of livability and enhancement of the magnificence of the context.
The heart of the project is developed around a large and scenic fountain conceived and designed as a long staircase leading up to the entrance of the palace, a symbol of wealth and power for the patrons.
The choice of vegetation was guided by the fundamental desire to create a landscape that was highly scenic and impressive, as well as livable. In view of the extreme climate and the near absence of trees, several areas with dense masses of vegetation were created with a considerable increase the number of trees and, consequently, shade and comfort.
Another key element of the park’s landscaping was the revaluation of the existing driveway: new tall palm trees along the sides
accompanied by shrubs typical of extremely warm climates with very low water demand. All this is enhanced by a lighting system with captivating settings: high-tech LED lights that create color effects and shades worthy of this splendid royal palace.
