Modern majesty for an Arabian garden

In the heart of a majestic Arab villa, Sandrini designed a true secret garden, a space of recollection with a green setting.
Elements of the Arab and Moorish garden tradition are reworked in a contemporary key in keeping with the style of the building, a modern architecture with simple volumes and defined forms. The paving design follows strict geometric lines, playing on the contrast between materials: shiny black pebbles, light-colored stone slabs and outdoor teak wood planks. Sandrini envisioned lawn areas that alternate with areas planted with ornamental grasses, large pots in textural colors that rhythmically punctuate the space, an equine sculpture that celebrates the Arab passion for horses, and giant bamboos that border water play giving verticality to the composition. The garden thus designed turns out to be as majestic as the villa that houses it.
