Private garden in Brescia

Neutral colors, modern lines and essentiality

For this private residence, Sandrini created a garden with a modern and linear style that could be defined as a minimal metropolitan space with neutral colors such as whiteblack and gray. The project is characterized by essential, geometric lines that give the idea of extreme cleanliness and simplicity: few dominant tones and an extreme research in the furniture elements, complements and details, strongly integrated with the interior style of the house. Particular care and attention was paid to the botanical choice, preferring evergreen essences with neutral colors.

The existence and need to maintain a centuries-old Libocedrus became an opportunity to create a perspective channel in which to use the conifer as a scenic element. In order maintain the tree, which was at a higher elevation than the level planned for the garden, a large metal planter was built to give the feeling of containing the plant, an element that also contributed to increasing its scenic value.

Also of special value are the materials used and their combination: cutaway of light-colored gravel, polished black pebbles, and light-colored and gray stone. The planters, with use of black mirror and special finishes, re-propose the orangeries of the classical tradition in a modern key. Also refined is the water play with artistic element of the glass sphere.
