Green roofs with innovative shapes

Acquaworld is nestled in a redesigned landscape and stands out, not only because of the film that covers the roofing membrane but, more importantly, because of the distinctive transparent drop shapes that seek to better integrate the architectural volume with the intervening area.
Sandrini stepped in to cover Acquaworld with an extensive green roof of about 4,000 square meters.
Using OPTIGRÜN technology, Sandrini transformed a roof with a pitch from 0° to 60° into a low-maintenance green surface, planted with Sedum pre-cultivated mats and equipped with a fall protection system from above.
Sandrini also took care of both the interior layout with plants suitable humid environments and the large outdoor garden green barriers and ”oases” were created
planted that provide shade and coolness.
