Milan. Vegetation walls for Palazzo Beltrade

Vertical gardens in the exclusive center of Milan

The accurate renovation of Palazzo Beltrade, that is an important building designed by the well-known architect Portaluppi, represents the refined and elegant expression of the modern way of living.
In this modern elegance, the element of greenery is integral part and fundamental for the project: the nature enters into the core of Milan thus offering beauty to the sight and a wellness and dynamism sensation.
The indoor yard, the terraces and all the balconies of the Palace are covered with greenery thus creating a balance and sophisticated scenography where the vertical garden is the main element.
The big green wall surprises the visitor with its unexpected magnificence where Sandrini selected every single botanical essence with great accuracy and care. At the basis of this careful choice there are both aesthetic aspects and resistance to the variable exposure of the to the light and wind on the last floors.
The plants draw wide colorful backgrounds: the protruding volumes of the Fatsia Japonica are alternated with the delicate texture of the Soleirola, the bright green of Carex and of Aucuba contrast with the dark red of Euchera and the wood green of Viburnum, thus creating a sensation of rhythm and movement that permeates the whole composition.
