It is no easy matter to create a site which is accessible to all, but it is increasingly important. The Web is of everyone and it is vital for everyone to be able to access the site without difficulty.
Sandrini Garden Designers is committed to providing universal access through the use of a page code and CSS, written in compliance with W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS specifications.
Sandrini.it was also designed and built in compliance with the W3C and WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) regulations.
All the necessary steps have been taken to make the site accessible to all, including the physically disabled and those using obsolete browsers and tools.
Sandrini.it has reached the three priority levels (WAI-AAA) established in guidelines for Web access. Its suitability was checked by automatic validation (such as Cynthia Says), able to check the validity of the code, but unable to verify all measures making the site universally accessible.
The final, most important, control is carried out manually.
If you have any problems or doubts please write to info@sandrini.it.
It will help us to improve the site.
Tableless
This site was created entirely with levels and CSS, without tables. The browsers which do not support CSS should be able to maintain the structure of the site intact.
Language
The main language of the site is English, although some foreign words may appear here and there. The code indicates language changes, allowing Screen Readers to pronounce the words properly.
Acronym and abbreviation
Acronyms are underlined with a dashed green line. Click on the acronym to find its meaning. Abbreviations are indicated in the code.
Browser
The site was tested on Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla Firefox 0.9, Opera 7.x, Netscape 7.1
