Modern garden
In one of Brescia's most beautiful quarters, we installed this small, but important, garden.
The young couple living here wanted a modern and minimal garden, attuned to their interiors.
The conservative restoring in the early 1900s suggested a hint of the exotic taste of that period, with the chamerops excelsa, and a traditional garden, with the generous bloom of hydrangea and ancient roses.
The largest strip on the front side was decorated with sinuous and smooth lines, creating interesting perspectives, enlarging space and altering real space perception.
The southeastern side of the house was designed with essential geometrical lines, white pebbles used as a bordering for a lush phyllostachis aurea and nigra hedge, creating a stark contrast with the lawn and framing the white enameled vases containing trimmed boxes.
