Green Bonus has been finally approved in 2018.
It’s a concrete support for the diffusion of greenery that will not only make cities more beautiful and green, but also will help them contrasting smog.
This bonus will be available to private citizens for renovation of roofs, balconies and gardens; it specifically concerns the arrangement of the green uncovered areas of any sort of properties. It means roofs, private and also shared gardens.
Green roofs, hanging gardens and restoration of historic gardens are also included.
This bonus provides for the deduction of 36%, that means an IRPEF discount of the total expenses supported, for a maximum of 5.000 euros.
Let’s see specifically which costs are included in the Green Bonus:
– Costs for the renovation of irrigation systems;
– Replacement of an hedge;
– Great prunings;
– Maintenance and restoration works of uncultivated areas, in flowerbeds and small lawns.
This bonus is the result of the awareness that greenery plays an important role for our health and for the planet. It seems like a small step but it’s with little efforts that a collective sensibility is built and one learns to consider nature as an essential resource.
So it’s time now to consider a greenery makeover.
